What Is Cloud Telecom?

Cloud Telecom offers you a hosted virtual phone system that works like a company switchboard. We allows you to use a single phone number where your customers can reach all of your departments and employees. Calls can be routed based on extension numbers that you determine and forwarded to any phone in world.

Why do I need a IPBX?

Cloud Telecom provides you a professional business phone system for a low monthly cost that requires no configuration, allowing you to concentrate on your business, instead of worrying about managing your phone system.

Do I need to install anything to use Cloud Telecom?

No, there is nothing to download or install unless you want to use SIP phone software. Cloud Telecom is a completely hosted, web based phone system.

What qualifies as a user?

Users are extensions in the system.

I already have a number, can I port the number to Cloud Telecom?

Yes, all your numbers can be ported to Cloud Telecom.

Do I need a fixed IP?

You can perfectly use an Internet connection with a variable IP address. The fact is that your VoIP phone logs periodically to your IPBX so your (possibly new) IP address is known. This is also the reason why our solution is so flexible. Take your appliances to a different location where internet is available, and plug the unit. The telephone system will also be in this new environment, find your VoIP phone and forward calls to your phone.

What are the prerequisites to use Cloud Telecom?

To ensure an optimal user experience, VoIP require a high speed internet connection to ensure low latency and bandwidth. Our expert will check your internet and network and provides you some advices to ensure the best performance.

How can I integrate fax devices?

You will have two options: Physical fax machine via ATA: If you wish to use a physical fax machine you can do so provided that the use of an Analogue Telephone Adapter (ATA). This is a small device that allows to connect an analog fax machine on the Internet. The ATA allows for the conversion fax to SIP and vice versa. Virtual fax using our ‘Fax2Mail’ option : Using this feature, you will received your faxes by email as PDF attachment and you will be able to send faxes through our user friendly web interface.
